Giving Back

Giving where we live is in the ProspHire DNA, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania is the Firm’s long-standing charity of choice. Since our founding, ProspHire has donated more than $300k to local and national non-profit organizations.

In 2015, Firm Principals Lauren and Chris Miladinovich (and their Julianna pet pig Nola) helped create the Clubs’ annual “Kiss a Pig” campaign. Through it, they committed to help raise $1 million, and six years in, we are well on our way (with $410k raised to date).

In 2017, Lauren and Chris were honored with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania’s Commitment to Youth Award. The couple were also recognized at the organization’s 2017 Celebration of Champions event for their, “remarkable leadership, inspiring community achievement and extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit” in the healthcare industry.

Giving Back During the Pandemic

ProspHire Small Business Stimulus

In the height of the pandemic, Firm Principals created the ProspHire Small Business Stimulus. Through this program, practitioners were reimbursed 100% for food, living essentials and sanitizing supplies purchased from local, independent small businesses. Together, we spent more than $20k in our communities.

Coming Together (Even When We’re Apart)

ProspHire practitioners faced off in a Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia virtual food drive. Collectively, we raised more than $9k for local food banks 412 Food Rescue and Philabundance.

Pandemic Relief Coaching

A small business ourselves, ProspHire gave their time to consult with and help other small businesses apply for federal and state relief programs.

Prosper Together Day

In June 2018, the Firm held our first annual “Prosper Together” Day of Service at the Estelle S. Campbell Boys & Girls Club in Lawrenceville, PA. That day, 25 ProspHire practitioners built Alka Seltzer-powered rocket ships, played dodge ball and programmed robots with kids – and it’s hard to say who had more fun.

This tradition and our relationship with the Club continued, and more than 40 ProspHire practitioners attended our “Prosper Together” Day in 2019! Check out some of our favorite memories.

We Support the Causes Our People Care About

ProspHire encourages its practitioners to stay involved in the community by offering paid time off for community service. With this policy, ProspHire practitioners can trade traditional work days to give back and create a positive impact.
