Lauren Dempsey

Lauren is a Manager at ProspHire. A relationship-oriented leader, Lauren has driven process improvement and organizational analyses across several departments to deliver results for one of the largest MCO’s in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast region. Her work has largely included delivery of large-scale clinical program assessments, process optimization and vendor implementations.  

Recently, Lauren developed and implemented an extensive business requirements training that was rolled out and scaled to an entire Health Plan PMO. The work resulted in streamlining their business and technical processes while mitigating risks and improving project delivery efficiency.  

Prior to joining the Firm, Lauren represented a medical device company that specialized in orthopedic trauma implants of the upper and lower extremities. She developed key relationships with orthopedic surgeons to find solutions for enhanced patient outcomes. In college, Lauren worked for UPMC as an Emergency Medicine Data Analyst where she supported providers through data analytics to drive improvement and efficiency.   

 Fun Fact: Lauren has helped with more than 200 live surgeries that range from simple wrist fractures to emergency bi-lateral trauma cases.  

Connor O’ Brien

Connor is a PMP-certified manager at ProspHire. He has nearly 10 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and is skilled in project management, process improvement and government programs. Connor excels at executing large programs and projects, while developing solutions that cut costs and increase efficiency for our healthcare clients. 

 Recently, he supported a large health plan organization in bringing an Affordable Care Act (ACA) product to market, working directly with Information Technology and Vendor Management teams to support the growth of the organization. 

Fun Fact: Connor has run the Pittsburgh Marathon the past two years and has a goal to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Rikita Shah

Rikita is a Manager at ProspHire and a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Rikita has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry and Medicare and Medicaid areas. She is adept in leading large complex healthcare and insurance technology implementation projects.

Most recently, Rikita led the insourcing of Medicaid STARS and CHIP (Childrens Health Insurance Program) programs and performed a comprehensive current state assessment to understand organizational impacts, gaps and regulatory state requirements. The work resulted in the client passing state readiness review and successfully insourced Medicaid STARS and CHIP lines of business.

Fun Fact: Rikita is an avid traveler and has been to 47 states.

Jack Warwick

Jack is a PMP-certified Manager at ProspHire with nearly 10 years of experience working in program management, process improvement, clinical operations and implementations across healthcare sectors. A data-driven problem solver, he leverages his healthcare specific delivery experience to navigate complex environments while managing expectations through constant communication and driving results.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jack was a Portfolio Director at the University of Pittsburgh. There, he developed, implemented and managed innovative and evidence-based programs that improved service delivery and operational processes, supported large-scale systems transformation and reduced healthcare costs for payers and providers.

Fun Fact: Jack has traveled to over 25 countries across the globe.

 

 

 

 

Ellen Yang

Ellen is a Manager at ProspHire. She is an experienced healthcare professional with knowledge in vendor management, process optimization, system integration and selection and program management. She is skilled at utilizing data-driven analytics to drive end to end assessments, implementation and realization reviews for her healthcare clients.  

Prior to joining ProspHire, Ellen was a Manager at Pathstone Partners, a healthcare consulting firm focusing on improving financial and operational performance for national healthcare organizations. In her role, she led and developed a team of consultants to implement non-labor cost savings initiatives and workforce optimization reviews. In addition, she led the development of the firm’s marketing and social media efforts, including website creation, search engine optimization and thought leadership pieces.  

Other career experiences include leading development and implementation of new healthcare programs. As a Senior Project Manager at Healthchannels, she oversaw all operational aspects of medical scribe programs that spanned over 35 health networks. She worked alongside client clinical and administrative leadership in order to successfully manage the full implementation of new client sites and ensured continued client satisfaction of existing sites.  

Fun Fact: Ellen is an avid traveler who has been to all 50 states and is now pursuing her pilots license to travel even more!  

Joseph Ardolino

Joseph is a Specialist Master at ProspHire. He has a wide variety of exposure across the health care ecosystem ranging from health plan operations in value-based care and Medicare Stars to health system financial modeling and technology implementation for some of the largest national payors, providers and pharmaceutical companies.  

In his role, Joseph brings unique perspective to qualitative and quantitative assessments that inform priority setting and strategy design for his clients. His involvement across service offerings enables enhanced work products while developing and assessing initiatives that support the evolving needs of the business. 

Fun Fact: Joseph is a licensed Pennsylvania real estate agent through the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and enjoys real estate investment and analysis. 

Angie Connelly

Angie is a Specialist Master and member of the Firm’s Leadership Team. She has 15+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry. 

At ProspHire, Angie applies her clinical knowledge to drive business solutions and process improvements for her healthcare clients.  

A skilled project manager, she recently led utilization management (UM) and care management (CM) assessments for a large healthcare provider. She developed a CM Playbook with strategic recommendations to increase engagement and improve the overall operating model. She also has a robust understanding of government programs operations within clinical services and applies her subject matter expertise to solve business challenges in both the payer and provider markets. 

Angie was previously a clinical research nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She specialized in phase I and II oncology clinical trials and has extensive experience in pediatrics and intensive care medicine.  

Fun Fact: Angie’s hobbies include replicating recipes, crafting DIY projects from Pinterest and occasionally, tandem sky diving.
