Lauren Miladinovich

Lauren is the Co-Founder, Managing Principal and CEO of ProspHire, a management consulting firm focused on healthcare advisory, project delivery and strategic resourcing. The woman-owned and rapidly growing Pittsburgh-based firm has nearly 100 practitioners and consultants who deliver exceptional service to clients across the U.S.

Lauren became the Managing Principal and CEO when she co-founded the Firm in 2015. She serves a vital role in developing the Firm’s strategic priorities, onboarding new clients and partnering with complementary and highly specialized organizations. Her experience is extensive in leading large, complex project management engagements and she oversees a diverse group of senior healthcare practitioners in delivering on programs that help to solve clients most complex people, process and technology challenges.

Under Lauren’s leadership, ProspHire has had several award-winning years. The Firm was named one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work for four years in a row (2020-2023) and Inc Best Workplaces in 2023. ProspHire was also named to Inc. Magazine’s annual list of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies for four years in a row – the Inc 5000 (2020-2023). Additionally, the Firm made the list for the Pittsburgh Business Times Fastest Growing Companies in the Pittsburgh region for four years in a row (2019 – 2022).

Lauren believes in a people-first mentality and ProspHire’s culture encourages a workplace that helps people prosper every day. Whether that is solving a problem for a client, building on university relationships for a recruiting project or leveraging an internal development opportunity to advance career growth. Each day she encourages every employee to strive to break down barriers not only for clients but for each other.

Previously, Lauren was a senior project management professional in the Energy industry permitting natural gas pipelines. She served as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Women’s Energy Network and was also their Public Relations Chair.

Today, Lauren works closely with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and Philadelphia. In 2015, she helped to create the Clubs’ annual “Kiss a Pig” campaign that was held for 5 years. In 2017, she was honored with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania’s Commitment to Youth Award and was also recognized at the organization’s 2017 Celebration of Champions event for “remarkable leadership, inspiring community achievement and extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit” in the healthcare industry. In 2022, when ProspHire expanded its footprint with an office in the Philadelphia market, Lauren also added a relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.

Fun Fact: Lauren and her husband Chris had a pet Juliana pig named Nola, who was the star of the “Kiss a Pig” campaign. Sadly, Nola crossed the Rainbow Bridge in summer 2023.

Chris Miladinovich

Chris Miladinovich is co-founder, principal and chief strategy officer (CSO) of ProspHire. He took on the role of CSO in 2023 to oversee business development, client relationships, strategic partnerships and the Firm’s long-term strategic plan. Prior, he served as ProspHire’s Chief Operating Officer in charge of the operational business units, including Finance, IT and Administrative Operations.

Since the firm’s founding in 2015, Chris has overseen every aspect of the business and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), where he works closely with other executive leaders to develop strategy and set the direction of the firm’s future sustainability, growth and profitability.

Chris brings over 20 years of experience leading large-scale, complex business transformation programs from a billion dollar, Big 4, consulting organization to an emerging business. His leadership has been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven business services and solutions in the healthcare industry. He has been responsible for managing over $20 million in annual revenue, providing outstanding client experiences and driving profitable growth.

Chris is a board member and Finance Chair of the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs’ Organization Chapter. He is also an instrument-rated, commercial pilot and certified flight instructor and serves as a board member and Vice President of the Condor Aero Club, Inc.

Fun fact: Chris can turn people into pilots as a certified flight instructor.

Dan Crogan

Dan is a Principal and Senior Vice President of Consulting at ProspHire, a national healthcare consulting firm. In this Executive Leadership position, he plays a pivotal role in the Firm’s success and the continued fast growth trajectory of the consulting practice by delivering high quality, business performance solutions to his clients while building a culture of highly engaged and collaborative professionals.  

Under Dan’s leadership, ProspHire has grown from 5 to nearly 100 employees, expanded operations from its headquarters in Pittsburgh to an office in the Philadelphia market of King of Prussia and extended the client geography across the United States. His expertise in healthcare consulting coupled with a dedication to building lasting business relationships has enabled ProspHire to be an award-winning firm in best places to work and fastest growing categories multiple years in a row.  

Dan previously led ProspHire’s Medicare Stars Performance Improvement service group and oversaw the strategy and implementation of Medicare Stars transformations. His efforts through focused measure assessments and foundational improvement interventions resulted in Medicare clients achieving higher Stars ratings and therefore millions of dollars in reimbursement funds. 

With more than 15 years in consulting services, including at Big 4 firm, Deloitte, Dan has led numerous large, complex, transformational projects that delivered an innovative internal approach and helped clients improve their operations and achieve their business growth goals. 

Fun Fact: Dan once appeared in a Gatorade commercial alongside Sidney Crosby. 

 

Tricia Egry

A transformational marketing & communications executive with foresight and imagination, Tricia Egry is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at ProspHire, a national healthcare consulting firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has a history of surpassing ambitious business goals and delivering revolutionary digital marketing innovations that ensure memorable client experiences. Tricia has a consistent record of positioning organizations for success, spurring multi-million-dollar sales growth and developing ground-breaking marketing solutions that demonstrate a profound dedication to client engagement.

As part of the executive leadership team at ProspHire, she is responsible for building and driving a marketing & communications strategy that will unify client experience, brand purpose, creative communications and marketing technology, while inspiring a team of nearly 100 employees and consultants across the U.S.

Known for being a trusted advisor and consultant, Tricia has more than 25 years of experience in delivering high-impact, integrated marketing, brand and communications strategies across diverse industries, locations and geographies. Prior to joining ProspHire, she served as National Marketing & Communications Leader of Field Teams at BDO, USA, where she spearheaded marketing & communications strategies for more than 60 U.S. offices by leading the development and execution of go-to-market plans that included digital and social media campaigns, public relations and advertising initiatives, sales enablement and bid management and event and sponsorship strategies.  She came to BDO through the expansion of Alpern Rosenthal, where she led strategic marketing initiatives for numerous industries as Director of Marketing.

Prior, she was the head of the marketing department for a national scientific laboratory and consulting firm, where she managed marketing & communications programs for the headquarters and five spin-off companies. Tricia’s career experience also includes global event management, education program development, television news producing and reporting and radio broadcasting.

Fun Fact: Tricia has been a Latin Dancer for more than 20 years. She was a member of Los Salseros Caliente Dance Team and performed at night clubs and salsa congresses around the country.

Francis Roman

Francis is the VP of Operations at ProspHire and a member of the Firm’s Executive Leadership Team. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing many of the Firm’s operational business units, including Finance, IT and Administrative Operations.  

Francis brings 15 years of experience leading large-scale, complex business transformation projects in both client and consulting environments for healthcare and insurance companies. He previously served in a Managing Director role at ProspHire, where he led the Business Growth and Expansion service offering. He also served as the account leader for a managed service organization and third-party administrator and oversaw multiple programs to advance data management, data governance and business implementation and transformation initiatives. He supported the Firm’s technology infrastructure and command center, as well. He began his career as a Consultant at Deloitte.  

Fun Fact: Francis harnessed his adaptability and love for meeting new people at a young age. Growing up, he attended 12 different grade schools including 3 separate high schools from kindergarten through his senior year. 

Kathleen Bali

Kathleen is an accomplished Human Resources (HR) executive with more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing, government contracting, local government and non-profit sectors. As the Director of Human Resources for ProspHire, she is responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies in support of the overall human capital business plan and strategic direction of the Firm. Kathleen is committed to helping practitioners stand out by using a collaborative leadership approach, forming solid relationships and helping them achieve quality outcomes. Developing and executing people-centric organizational strategies is her area of expertise. 

Kathleen started her career at Lockheed Martin. She was selected to be part of the Leadership Development Program and served multiple roles including Compensation Analyst, HR Business Partner and Labor Relations Representative and later joined the company’s Intelligence Division.  

After Lockheed, Kathleen served in several HR roles across the U.S. She was an HR Generalist for Hope Community Resources in Anchorage, AK and an HR Supervisor for Graphic Packaging International in Monroe, LA.   

Kathleen put down roots in southwestern Pennsylvania and served as Director of HR for Washington County, where she oversaw the County’s Human Resources, Labor Relations and Occupational Safety and Health activities. She then moved to Pathways of Southwest PA as EVP of Human Resources. Prior to ProspHire, she took a role as Chief Talent Strategist for Cline Human Capital Consulting, where she obtained certifications as a Predictive Index and Talent Optimization Consultant.  

Fun Fact: She is ambidextrous which means she is part of the 1% population that can use both their right and left hands!

Tim Calhoun

Tim is a Managing Director for ProspHire, serving commercial and non-profit health plans and state health agencies to improve administrative, operational and clinical process and technology effectiveness.

Tim has a diverse engagement experience ranging from core operational and clinical process and technology implementation, intelligent automation (process robotics), operational analytics, Medicaid and Medicare processes and systems implementation and operational, platform and costs assessments, remediation and strategy roadmap development.

With more than twenty years of consulting and advisory services, including with EY and Accenture, Tim has led and delivered large and complex business and system transformational initiatives across all three books of business: commercial, Medicare and Medicaid. Tim has authored articles related to the impact of the public health emergency on payers; value-based insurance design drives cost savings and improved care; health organizations move toward value-based care; and, effective infrastructure can power care coordination. Prior to consulting, Tim held financial and information systems auditing and accounting positions.

Fun Fact: Tim is a struggling “hacker” but still loves the game that can never be mastered – golf.  And if he can’t get out to the course, he’s always up for fly fishing on a picturesque stream.

Luke Laurin

Luke Laurin

Luke is a Managing Director for Prosphire. He specializes in Information Technology (IT) advisory for provider-based healthcare systems with expertise in strategic information system planning, system implementation roadmaps and management of complex system implementations. Throughout his 15+ years of experience, he has managed several large-scale healthcare technology projects, contributed significantly to business development and established himself as a healthcare technology leader in the industry.

Luke has extensive expertise in strategic information system planning, system implementation roadmap development and complex system implementation management. He brings deep knowledge of program/portfolio management, revenue cycle and ambulatory, dental and post-acute workflows to each of his client engagements.

Prior to joining ProspHire, Luke served as a Partner with Cumberland Consulting Group in Chicago and in a consultant role with Ernst & Young.

Luke is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute and is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

Fun Fact: Luke plays the drums in a classic rock cover band called “The Bucks” in Chicago. They cover the Beatles, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd and a couple of originals.

Joshua Manning

Joshua is a PMP-certified Managing Director at ProspHire and member of the Firm’s Senior Leadership Team.

Joshua has 15+ years’ experience in management consulting, including leading nationwide system selections and implementations in both the payer and provider sectors.

Currently, Joshua is the Account Manager for a managed services organization (MSO). There, he oversees multiple initiatives with a focus on organizational growth through building a sustainable Stars program, optimizing benefits offerings and standing up the inaugural health plan performance leadership meeting.

Prior to joining the Firm, Joshua served as Principal Consultant at both Cumberland Consulting Group and HM Health Solutions, where he focused on portfolio strategic planning, system migrations and delivery planning and execution.

Fun Fact: As an avid Pittsburgh Penguins Fan, Joshua has attended playoff and Stanley Cup finals games and his two dogs are even named Sidney and Geno.

Andrew Bell

Andrew is a Senior Manager at ProspHire. A solution-oriented leader, Andrew has extensive experience within Government Programs Operations, including the delivery of large-scale program assessments and accompanied growth strategy recommendations. His work also has included support of merger and acquisition activities, development of membership growth strategies, and identifying synergies across the enterprise to reduce cost and increase effectiveness.

Andrew’s work within managed care has a particular focus on Medicare Quality Improvement and Medicaid Performance Improvement Programs. Andrew leads our Medicare Stars Performance Improvement Service offering, where he oversees the delivery and execution all of Stars project work, including contract assessments, program transformations, amongst other services.

Andrew has served in interim leadership roles for Medicare Stars programs, overseeing teams of individuals, managing budgets, and evaluating/implementing vendor partnerships. His latest Medicare Stars transformation work involved two recently merged managed care organizations both with declining Medicare Stars performance. Andrew and team were able to quickly and effectively assess the key opportunity areas, establish strong partnerships within the organization, determine the ‘math path’ to success, streamline processes in order to optimize their Stars score potential, and ultimately achieve 4 Stars and Quality Bonus Payment revenue.

Fun Fact: An avid reader and lover of history, Andrew named his dog, Fala, after President Franklin Roosevelt’s beloved Scottish Terrier.
